Dr. Mazurov is a board-certified internist with over four decades of experience. He brings a wealth of medical knowledge, clinical leadership, and compassionate care to Sorin Medical.
Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Mazurov has held multiple leadership positions, including as an intensive care physician, and distinguished service in primary care and internal medicine for over 25 years in Brooklyn. He is widely respected for his attentive bedside manner and unwavering dedication to patient well-being. Known for spending time to truly understand his patients’ needs, Dr. Mazurov embodies Sorin Medical’s commitment to personalized and compassionate care.
Dr. Mazurov earned his medical degree from Chelyabinsk Medical School and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at New York Methodist Hospital from 1995 to 1998. In 2012, he was the founding member and chief medical officer at Intermed Care P.C. in Brighton Beach. His extensive hospital-based experience includes serving as Assistant Attending Physician at Beth Israel Hospital (2008–2016) and at Victory Memorial Hospital (1998–2008).
Dr. Mazurov will be leading Sorin Medical’s Internal Medicine practice at our Bay Parkway location, where his clinical expertise and warm approach will continue to elevate the standard of care for our patients.
