Dr. Linda M. Koshy is an interventional cardiologist at Sorin Medical who has dedicated her career to advancing cardiovascular medicine, particularly the treatment of complex coronary artery disease and women’s health. She is board certified in Interventional Cardiology, General Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Vascular Interpretation.
Since joining Sorin Medical in 2021, Dr. Koshy has played an integral role in performing coronary and endovascular procedures and treatments. She has developed strong relationships with the communities and patients she serves throughout the New York boroughs and has joined staff at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
Dr. Koshy received her undergraduate and medical degree at the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine (Honors Program in Medicine). She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Duke University Hospital and completed her fellowships in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at New York University Langone Medical Center.
In addition to managing the broad spectrum of cardiovascular diseases, Dr. Koshy has a strong interest in advancing women’s cardiovascular issues and advocating for women in cardiology. Her special interests include patient safety and quality measures, including research publications highlighting the superiority of radial access and methods to reduce radiation exposure in the cardiac cath lab. Dr. Koshy previously served as a co-leader of the New York University Women in Cardiology group where she helped organize mentoring events for students, faculty, and fellows for three consecutive years.
