Dr. Yevgeniya Zinger is a primary care physician at Sorin Medical. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and brings over 30 years of clinical experience to the team.
Dr. Zinger graduated from Andijan State Medical Institute in Uzbekistan with a Doctor of Medicine. She went on to complete her PhD in Psychiatry from Moscow Medical Academy. In 1996, Dr. Zinger moved to New York and completed her fellowship in Psychiatry at the Bronx Psychiatric Center. She went on to complete her residency in internal medicine at Interfaith Medical Center and was later an attending physician in the outpatient department.
Dr. Zinger is often referred to as a doctor’s doctor. Her extensive training and background in both internal medicine and psychiatry gives her unique insights and understanding into both the physical and emotional aspects medical issues can have on a patient. She is an extraordinary clinician whose compassion and empathy makes her a treasured and valued member of the community,
In 2013, Dr. Zinger joined Sorin Medical. As a primary care physician, she is responsible for providing health evaluations, screenings and delivering personalized treatment to a community of patients in South Brooklyn.
