Dr. George FoulardDr. George Foulard is Director of the Vascular and Interventional Radiology Program at Sorin Medical.  Dr. Foulard’s career has been known for innovation and advancements in the treatment of common disorders through non-surgical, outpatient techniques. 

Dr. Foulard completed his undergraduate degree in History and Philosophy at Georgetown University. In addition, during this time he studied International Relations at the London School of Economics. He earned his Medical degree from the University of Texas  in Houston.  While in medical school he held several teaching positions including as a Gross Anatomy and Biochemistry Teaching Assistant and has served on various medical school committees, including the Medical School Information Technology Advisory Committee and the Curriculum Revision Committee.

Dr. Foulard was a General Surgery Intern at NY Methodist Hospital and then completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. During this time he won the prestigious Mount Sinai Innovation Partners Pitch Challenge and Placed in the Innovation Showcase.

Dr. Foulard brings a wealth and deep breath of knowledge and understanding to Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He is a recognized thought leader and innovator in the non-surgical treatment of Uterine Fibroids, Prostate Enlargement and Erectile Dysfunction. 

As Dr. Foulard leads the Vascular and Interventional Radiology Program, he aims to bring his expertise and dedication in all Interventional Radiology treatments to Sorin striving to enhance access to quality care in underserved communities.
